It's only April 7, but we're approaching the end of the spring bulbs already. The daffodils are gone, and the tulips aren't far behind. The Dutch iris and allium have yet to bloom, but the major show of the spring ephemerals is on its last legs. It's sad to to see the rainbow of colors going so early, but the garden is taking on a beautiful new hue - spring green. |
