My alarm went off at 5:30 this morning, an abrupt reminder of last night's eagerness to write before the day began. My sluggish hand slowly cleared the sleep from my eyes as my body fought the urge to spend another hour under the covers.
I've been sleeping with my blinds up lately, since my alarm beats sunrise every morning. I tried to focus out the window at a blurred light above the tree outside my window. My brain did that common dance of the unfamiliar.
Is that something new? Or have I just never noticed it?
Suddenly, I remembered the posts about this morning's lunar eclipse.

I don't have the right lenses or experience in shooting the night sky that would be required to get truly breathtaking photos, but I enjoyed the crisp morning air in my lungs as I witnessed our shadow slowly walk across our moon.
