If you love azaleas and live anywhere near Chicago, I'd suggest you head directly to Garfield Park Conservatory (GPC) to see the azaleas during the Spring Flower Show. On my way back home from the Chicago Flower and Garden Show, I made a quick stop at GPC to see what was in bloom, and can only describe what I found as an abundance of azaleas in the conservatory's show house. The spring show runs through May 6, but the azaleas are in peak bloom now.

For those of you who can't pay a visit in person, here's the next best thing.

Garfield Park Conservatory is located at 300 N. Central Park Ave. in Chicago. Constructed between 1906 and 1907, it remains one of the largest publicly-funded conservatories in the world. For more information, please visit http://www.garfieldconservatory.org/
